DESIGN OF COMPETENCY MODELS AND THEIR APPLICATION IN THE HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT PROCESSES

Competency model is a tool serving for the identification and description of competencies necessary for effective performance. Competency model defines selection criteria. Besides that it is the fundamental of the whole system of human resources management. Based on it companies can easily assess the performance of their employees, train and develop key competencies (qualification) crucial for the company.

COMPETENCY BASED INTERVIEW TRAINING

This method of interviewing is based on structured questioning while the questions are specific and concern real situations in the past professional as well personal life of the candidate. Qualified questioning enables to obtain information about candidate’s competencies which significantly reduces the risk of hiring a wrong candidate. The interactive training is primarily for managers and HR managers.

ASSESSMENT/DEVELOPMENT CENTER

Specialist Service uses this method not only for staff selection but also for the identification of employees´ potential within educational projects or career guidance. Both methods give valid information on the observed and required competencies and are completed by psycho-diagnostic examination.

„SOFT SKILLS“ TRAINING

Specialist Service organizes interactive and experiential training of soft skills or soft competencies in cooperation with its mother company RPIC-ViP Ltd. The aim is the development of competencies that are required by employers and that influence employees´ performance. AUDIT OF HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT

This program consists of several modules and DVD programs. Together with questionnaires it contributes to the harmonization of performance and relationships on the workplace. It helps the managers and HR managers to improve the system of management and development of human resources and develops their managerial competencies. Together with staff views survey it contributes to the upgrading of the company management.

STAFF VIEWS SURVEY

Staff views survey gives the management and company owners independent information on the views of employees (concerning e.g. running of the company, company culture and communication, planned changes, motivation tools etc.). The result is a complex analysis, definition of strong and weak points and the so-called “grey zones” and recommendation for improvement in the form of an action plan.

TEAMBUILDING

Teambuilding programs are aimed at the development and reinforcement of the team performance. The core of teambuilding lies in the ability to create a working team and develop its creative and performance potential. Specialist Service carries out outdoor teambuilding programs that respect physical capabilities of their participants.

OUTPLACEMENT

Outplacement offers a complex portfolio of services dealing with social impacts resulting from company restructuring. It represents a complex service for employees made redundant in the form of individual guidance and special group training aimed at job search and preparation for interviews. The individual guidance also includes consultations for beginning entrepreneurs. The participants of the course can make use of a psychologist, retraining or personnel consultant or trainer in the internet room.

CAREER GUIDANCE, TRAINING OF EFFECTIVE EMPLOYMENT SEARCH TECHNIQUES, PREPARATION FOR JOB INTERVIEWS

These services are for individual clients. Based on their requirements and needs there can be either individual or group courses during which the participants get to know effective techniques of employment search. They can experience simulated interviews completed by feedback in the form of a recording. During the individual guidance the coach helps the participants find answers to questions related to their potential and an area of further self-fulfillment.
